Default HID Help AGAIN

For those of you that have not seen the first thread looks here: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...s-06-only.html

Ok so I got the caps today and installed ONE cap on the drivers side before the relay like I was told to do. The lights still work fine with the truck off but now they completely turn off instead of just flickering. Am I supposed to take the relay off my truck now since I have the 2 caps? Run one cap on each side like most of you are doing? Im getting so frustrated.... Thanks guys!

I'm sorry weed, I am using what they sent me which is I believe a resistor because when I had it installed the first time and switched it off it would take an additional 3 or so seconds for the bulbs to shut off (this was when they would work with the truck turned off.) I was mistaken when I posted earlier.

I had it like this... Factory plug -> Resistor -> Relay -> to ballasts -> to bulbs... Im at a loss honestly. Im just going to throw the silverstars back in until I can get this worked out. I dont know why I had flickering issues in the first place running a relay off the battery.

Thats cool man. Take some pics of what they sent and lets see if we can help.

My kits goes like this.......battery->relay->ballast->resistors->bulbs

but my kit might be diff than yours. With the kit I bought from HID extra they sent something I thought was caps but to be honest, I havent even looked at it. I need to finish my kit but Ive got a few retros Im doing for others plus trying to finish my own projects so I cant see to get ahead and get that far.

Shark, if you could throw that up it would be cool... I'm 99.999999% sure its wired right though.

Weed, yeah thats what they sent out and it specifically says to install between ballast and OEM headlight harness
