Dynamat is very expensive but is also thicker and doesn't smell. I put fat mat in my truck that is $100 for 100sq ft. It is thinner and is asphalt based but for the price I couldn't pass it up. The smell only stunk for a week but now it's fine.

so do you really need to do the whole door or just around the speaker?
