I dont want to offroad or anything, this is all for appearance sake, and I think those dune grapplers are pure eyecandy, and in a 35" tire would just look awesome! I thought about the trail grapplers but considering I would never use them, I just dont really see the point...

We get snow, but its pretty much a joke in my opinion. Even through the passes it doesnt compare to snow in a valley in montana. Like I said, Im fairly certain I could get through the snow we have here on a set of slicks.

And the dune grapplers are m+s rated, so they are better than the tires I was running, and now Im running my bosses old 35X12.5 Dean radial sxt's, but they are pretty bald, he just gave them to me to see if I could run the 35 1250's. I will go up to the pass occasionally to go snowboarding, but the roads are almost always plowed, and when they arent I still think my LSD's will do enough to offset that they aren't the premier snow tire...

then i say go for it! they do look good! might wanna set aside a piece of change just in case you do need some cheap snow tires to get you through the winters up there. just a thought, but i dont know how bad you guys get hit with the slushee stuff where you are

Just go with a TrXus STS by Interco... Bad @$$ looking, great in sand and on street. Supposed to be pretty good in mud as well. If you are going to spend the money that the Dura Grapplers cost... might as well. not sure what the tread life on the TrXus are....

I probably could just keep the tires I have now and set them aside just in case... they have about 15% tread left on them, they are alright in the snow, not the best, but just in case I really do start to have a hard time with the dune grapplers.

If you like the Dune Grapplers, get 'em. They are a good looking tire. As far as the snow goes, yes, there are a LOT better tires for snow out there, but if you were making it through with those Goodyear HPs, you'll be fine. At worst, the Dune Grapplers should be at least as good in snow as those jokes they call tires that Dodge gives you...

I just got my tires mounted today, and they look pretty damn good. No snow or anything here yet but looks like its heading this way shortly. I'll keep you updated. Maybe if i can get up early tomorrow I will try and get some pictures up.
