Most sliding rear windows only serve to help suck every last once of dirt and debris out of the bed into the truck when the windows are open. But if you have the sunroof the sliding rear window is great when open as it will help eliminate that noisey wind rush turbulence.
I have a new 2005 on order and I did get the sunroof and the sliding rear window. Bottmline line it would have been nice if the Ram had the power rear window like the Tundra and the Titan. I'm sure it's just a matter of time and the big 3 will go the same direction.

I use mine whenever I wish to express my feelings toward my fellow driver. Since the windows are tinted, it may be hard to see into the truck. I simply open the window, and give them the bird. The cost is justified.
alot of the time i use it a s a portable sterio i have the infinity sound system so have speakers on the doors(wasnt sure if other systems had speakers there). i just back up to where i am going to be open all the doors, open the rear window and crank the volume I dont think the back window helps that much but wut the hell its great when i got out in the mesa and get ready for hunting season.
