When I got my truck I didnt care either way, but now that I have it, i couldnt stand not having one. When its hot out, open that back window and it helps cool the truck off MUCH quicker, and it gives you access to the bed from the cab if needed.

If you have a regular cab, it's probably worth it but if you have a quad cab, I don't think it's worth the hassle.

makes it alot easier for the criminals out there to get into your truck, no need to break a noisy side window, just need a screwdriver and BAAM they are in... easy pickins!

I have the sliding window and love it...it is great for ventilation...reduces buffeting when open and the side windows are open. It is great for those long loads like baseboard moulding that is 16' long.
