Default Flasher problem

I have a 04 RAM and I'm having a prob with the flasher. It started with the
( lamp out ) warning light coming on and off seemed to be affected by hitting the brake or turn signal....now it stays on most of the time and my left turn signal flashes fast ( like a burnt out bulb ) The rear left turn indicator is not working either. The bulb is fine. Some times it clears it self and works. So my first guess is.... the turn signal relay is going. I googled it quick to find out where it is... only to find they don't put relays in them any more they use some kind of integrated contorl box on the back of the instrument panel thats never suppose to go bad. ANY one have this prob or an answer ???
