Default duplicolor on front bumper

Well I want to just dive in a paint my front chrome bumper with the duplicolor bedliner spray. I've used the product before and had good luck with it. How easy does the front bumper come off like the fogs, the upper part, etc. Also, what's the best way to scuff the chrome for the paint to stick. I was going to sand then use self etching primer then the bedliner spray. What are your opinions on this? My plan was to have the bumpers and rocker panels line x'd but I don't have the funds and I won't have the funds for a long time.

the bumper comes right off the frame with the 4 bolts connected to the frame.once u take them out u can just slide the bumper off. its not hard to take the top piece, plastic inserts and other stuff off but it takes some time.as far as painting it urself....... i did my rear bumper the same way ur gonna do ur front bumper and it came out awsome but i dont think its gonna hold up when it comes time to wash it alot or it just gettin hit from rocks and stuff.i sanded mine with 320 sand paper then i use a rubberized paint to protect against rust, then self etching primer, then like 4 coats of the bedliner paint. does look good though but will it last? maybe? goodluck

Well too late, I already sanded it. I took a freakin belt sander to that ****. I think it was 60 grit hahaha. But anyway it's all sanded and ready for paint in the morning. I like the bed liner spray since when it dulls I can just spray paint on top of it. Ill post pics when I'm done.
