steering stabilizer and shocks

Default steering stabilizer and shocks

so im getting new rancho shocks to replace the oem ones and while i was on there site i saw these things that looked like shocks but were steering stabilizers and they go behind the front wheels.they cost about $62 each and i would need 2 but is this something i should replace while im already doin all 4 shocks?

You currently have steering stabilizers? I haven't seen anything in the way of a steering stabilizer for a stock 1500 with IFS.

if u look behind the front rims there is a small part that looks exactly like a shock.i googled it and it said it was a steering stabilizer.maybe google is wrong but i dont know.ill try to go take a pic outside of what im talking about

i would love to see a picture of a steering stabilizer for rack and pinion steering.........

procomp built one for a custom truck, not sure if its on the market though. im interested if anyone finds one tho

fabtech makes one but for a 2006 thats lifted. i put it on my 07 after looking at the installation sheet and the parts looked the same. not sure if i like it sounds like i can hear and feel it making some clanking noises going over speed bumps. but hear are some pics.
