Manual Truck Club
thats almost as bad as saying a truck isnt a truck if it aint a hemi
no buddy. he said theres no other truck like his. i wasnt talking about the 1500s. i was talking about his 2500 reg cab 6 speed. thanks.
I think you may have misread what I was saying. You could get a hemi manual. This is true. BUT, only on the heavy dutys. Half tons you couldn't ever get one. And you cannot get a hemi manual after 08 maybe, 09 for sure. Thats what I meant. Before that you could. In fact i have seen several 05 hemi manuals around.
yah. haha i think there was mixed confusion somewhere. not wasting time tryin to figure it out tho... it's all good.
i want the cummins 6 speed next!
i love my hemi, but pullin some hills she just doesnt have enough torque to get up in 6th gear like a cummins does.. I wish dodge put out a bigger gas motor in their trucks...

Its all good. We can't be fighting away in this club. lol
I think we would all like to have a cummins. Surprisingly though, my truck holds speed in 6th gear on hills. It won't really accelerate unless its flat though.
I always wanted a 2500 V10 manual 4x4. There was one for sale on ebay a few weeks ago. Beautiful truck. It looked brand new. No bids though. People just would rather go with a diesel. I heard a v10 dodge with pipes on it once, wow!! It sounded amazing.

For the first six months I owned my truck my left foot still went for the invisible clutch whenever I braked, I surely miss not having complete control over the trans. You guys and your little group suck!
Slightly off subject but, has anyone dyno'd their manual truck and compared that to the auto tran's numbers?

Me, well, I had 197hp to the rear wheels with the big ole 20s on. There's a little comparison on the 4.7L.
