yeah that would be sick if you could post it up. i dont have the wiring yet i think im going to buy it tomorrow or tuesday. im not getting the subs untill i get paid. and im picking them up used about half an hour away from me. im just thinking would it be smarter to pay the 70$ and get it professionally done and just watch how he does it so i can help my buddies out in the future?

His buddy actually is probably just charging for the parts and not labor because that's about what my install kit cost so its a VERY reasonable price. If I were in your situation I would have your buddy install it but yeah go along and watch the install and help him out along the way. Might as well get a free lesson out of it as well.

you probably wont save that much money doing it yourself because of the price of the amp kit but hey go for it. Its always a good feeling accomplishing something yourself.

usually when you pay people to install, you have to pay for all parts necessary too.

There's alot of good info here..... http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/rftech.asp

Otherwise if your unsure let the other guy do it if you trust his work, if you do it yourself make SURE you find a really good ground for the amp,a bad ground will fry your amp in about 5 seconds.

If he's giving you all the wiring and everything for $70 bucks thats actually a really good deal.

All you have is a power, ground, and remote wire for the amp,and RCA cable for signal input. Then speaker wires out to the subs that's it. Don't skimp on the wiring use quality stuff and make sure your power, ground, and speaker wires are plenty big enough.
