Ordered the trailmaster 6 inch lift for my truck. Im still gonna be running my 33" mud grapplers, does anyone have pics of a 1500 with a 6 inch lift with 33's. These tires were expensive so im gonna at least run them till their dead then maybe rethink getting 35's. Should have everything buttoned up by friday after thanksgiving. (lift, new hood, new grille) and will post pics.
Hey, Congrats on the new lift you ordered. I think Its going to look real good with the 6in and people deff going to be jouels. Would deff love to see pics when done. Mind me asking how much you payed for the lift. I want to do the same, just maybe a 3 or a 4 nothing to big but good for you. You having someone put it on and you doing it.
I got a really good price from this shop in hopedale Ma called SMG motoring. got them to take it from 1700 to 1200. this is just the price for the kit, prob another 700 to install it.
I think you will change your mind after seeing your truck with a 6" lift sitting on 33's. You can sell them on craigs list and get you a set of 35's or 36's.
Thats a really good price for that kind of lift. I live in Boston,Ma. I have heard of that place from online. Seems to be good place. Paying about 1,700 altogether for lift and install not bad. Good luck with it.
if i run 35's will i need to switch my gearing? i would prob get the 4:56's but not sure
I suggest doing gears with 35's and over. But with 35's you will still be able to drive around and do your typical things with your truck. But if you do any towing, 4 wheeling or just want more HP then I suggest gearing.
I ran stock gearing on 37's for a while and then switched to 4:56. It was a dog with stock gears. Now that I am on 36's I notice the 4:56 gears even more.
