Default how to make a power wire

i searched the forums but couldnt find a full how to for making a power wire and installing it.anyone have pics and a step by step for making and installing a power wire? im looking to make one for a 4.7 ram. i see people using 4.7 resistors but radio shack has different watt 4.7 resistors and no one says what watt its supposed to be.

You can use 1/8w resistor. Solder some wires to the ends of one and use some insulated male or female ends on the end of the wires

I don't think it matters which 4.7 ohm resistor you get, higher watt ratings just mean they can handle more power. The materials I used were butt connectors, heat shrink, 1/2 watt 4.7 ohm resistors, some wire, and a pack of insulated male and female connectors.
