Default Which Magnaflow?

I'm just looking to add a Magnaflow in place of my stock muffler. Which one do most of you run? round or oval? length? I'm looking at the 13743, round, 18" length, 3"in/out.

They sound pretty crappy when they aren't running

Oval is better I believe. I have oval on the Ram and Mustang.

I've got an 18" oval and it's a nice deep tone. If you go round, then leave your stock resonator on or you may have a bunch of drone in the cab.

The muffler you are looking at #13743 is sitting on my workbench at home! I just got it and it's going on Friday. I am having 3" pipe run in the stock location, topping it off with a nice chrome tip.

The muffler looks alot like the one that comes in the Magnaflow single in/out kit, thats why I got it.

I hope it sounds good, I'll let you know.

Hey, I'm going to change out my stock muffler. I was wondering how much you have looked into the replacement? Is this pretty close to a bolt on to replace the stock muffler? Obviously it will be a little shorter or longer so some fab work will be required. I'm just trying to find something that will be pretty close to a factory replacement, but louder. If anyone else has some suggestions for a good replacement with a lot more sound let me know. Thanks!

I am running a 14" 3" in dual 2.5" out with the front resonator left on,I like it I think it's just about perfect for an MDS truck. It's gotten a little louder since this video was taken.....
