Default Is there a way to change delay time of auto headlights?

My headlights stay on forever when i shut the truck off... they turn off eventually but i only want them to stay on for maybe 10 seconds. is there a key trick or something to change the auto timing? or is this a dealer job??

thanks

Only if you have an EVIC, the standard OTIS won't do it.

Take it to the dealership and ask real nice. I've had a few options, power delay, both 12 volt plugs always on, for example, set and they always do it free.

It's in the owners manual..BUT..if you turn the lights off Before you turn the truck off, then the lights go out immediately. If you shut the truck off and then turn the lights off, the lights will stay on for the "illuminated courtesy" duration of 30sec or 1min whatever it's set at.

i just hit the unlock button then lock...got use to it but it would be cool to program them to turn off quicker on their own.

Like Dog said. Turn them off before you turn the key off. Mine stay of for the factory 45sec if I turn the truck off before the lights. It does seem like forever.
