Default Trans HELP!! 2004 Ram

My 2004 ram 1500 6 banger just stared stalling when I come to a stop! And it doesnt seem to be shifting correctly, any one else had this happen overnight? What is it and how much am I looking at?? Truck has 85,000 miles on it and trany was serviced @ 40 grand. its still under warranty but you never know what they will say. thank you in advance for any help. Randy

Many things it could be. something engine related can cause perceived transmission problems. Stuff like a bad throttle position sensor can cause both symptoms. but that's totally a guess and about as vague and ambiguous as the explanation of this problem. Without diagnostics by someone with a strong, competent background, it's purely speculation.
