Default 4.7 is still slow

I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500, regular cab short bed. I have the 4.7 with the 6 speed manual transmission. I have a K&N cai, Gibson shorty headers, Jet Chip, exhaust, and throttle body spacer. The truck still feels kind of doggy and I wanted to know if there was something that would not void my lifetime warranty but I would see a night and day improvement. I tried the Superchips programmer and kept getting an error code with both the cortex and whatever the slightly more expensive programmer is called.

Take off the paper weight, I mean the throttle body spacer...But thats a good question on what wont void the warranty, just nothing with the powertrain. There is a truck on the V6 side named "Twink" and he put a blower on his truck and it didn't void the warranty lol, but it seems you've done what you can for now

Well that wasn't Dodge that did the warranty work on his truck after the blower, it was some other company.

Most guys are gonna tell you to get rid of the Jet chip and go try to get the superchips to work. Did you try working w/ their customer support to see if you could get it to work?

I did talk to the company and even had my mechanic talk to the guy at superchips and had no luck. We had asked for a dyno sheet for the 6 speed standard transmission that they said they had, but still have not seen that. Would a bigger throttle body help out?

I have heard that many 4.7 sticks 2006-2008 have not been able to get the Superchips to work.

I saymaybe try SCT for tunning. 4.10 gears. an 08 H.o intake manifold. And electric fan. Those should help wake up the motor.

I just looked up the specs on the 2008 Ram and the horsepower was boosted from 235 to 310...what could I swap over to take advantage of that? Would swapping factory parts void my warranty?

How about an MSD ignition? on the new 4.7 they are using 2 spark plugs per cylinder... might as well have multiple spark discharge?
