Post 04 4.7l idle rpm

I have an 04 1500 4.7L. When I first got the truck the idle was around
700rpm, I have 136,100 miles on it and the idle when stopped is 500rpm.
I'm I correct to say that 700rpms is right? What should I do to get rpms
back where they should be? I'm thinking it may be the TPS. I forgot
to mention that when cold and I start it up the rpms go up to 1000 rpms then settles
back to 600rpms when warm it drops to 500rpms.

my 4.7L did the same thing, it may be the TPS, well most likely IT IS the TPS, but my 4.7L had no problems idling that low, cuz i added many upgrades that leaned it out a little, nothing major, but it drop the idle rpms from around 800 down to a little over 500, ran perfect, no problems at all, well that is of course til my thermostat failed and caused my engine to overheat and throw two rockers out, but thats completely separate! lol

My Hemi idles at 500 in gear when at normal operating temp. It is to save fuel and builds less heat in the torque converter at an idle.
