Reasonable/mild sounding cat back dual exhaust with side exits for a 2500 5.7 ram? I have been searching the net all week just wasting my time. At the moment i have a FM 50 series suv, and it makes way to much cab racket. It drives me nuts when ever i tow/pull anything. I was looking at the FM 70 series but why no exhuast kits with that muffler in a dual exhaust?

Is there any dual exhaust kit out there with a mild sound? mbrp. dynomax, magnaflow????

there just arent alot of catbacks available for the 2500. that doesnt matter though, you can get an exhaust shop to custom fab you an entire system for the same price, if not less than a prefabed catback. as for mufflers, flowmasters are just "prone to drone". that should be their new advertising slogan! check out magnaflows, or maybe a resonated aeroturbine. i have an unresonated aeroturbine, and its loud, but doesnt drone in the cab.

Does it have to have to be a dual out. I LOVE my single magnaflow cat back setup. Nice and raunchy when you hammer on it but civilized enough it does drone mildly at 2k rpm but its nothing that 1 or 2 more levels on the volume **** cannot take care of.

MBRP makes it. It's stainless with a single in dual out muffler and exits out the side behind the rear wheels.

Seems that these days, the 2500-3500 guys seem to like the big chrome stacks sticking up out of the front of the bed
I like my Magnaflow as well. I even have a pair on the Mustang as well.

I would be up for anything if it is a mild exhaust. I want close to stock sound in the cab. I don't mind my FM 50 until i put my 11,000 pound tractor on a trailer and want to pull it. The cab noise from that dumb FM drives me nuts when the truck is loaded down.

I guess it doesn't have to be a dual exhaust, but after doing this twice now i want to buy a product i am happy with.

Hemiguy0302, if i have to turn the radio up some more so i don't have to listen to my muffler it is not what i want.

Also, i am not seeing the mbrp system for a 2500. I am sure that will be more noise then what i want also.

Aaron

look into the AT3030XL. its resonated, so its nice and mellow until you really lay into it.

Towing 11k, he's going to have to lay into it!!!
Even my Magnaflow is loud when towing about 7500lbs, but only when accelerating. Cruising, it isn't loud at all. Perhaps a long Magnaflow with one factory resonator would be to your liking?

borla systems are quiet with little to no drone with out a resonator. With one i'd bet it be like stock but a little deeper.
