Hey guys I am wanting to switch my lights (heads and fogs) to the HID system. I have no idea about this system at all except for it looks a lot better and the performance is a lot better. I have tried doing some searching around but I have no idea what kit I would need. I think based on what I have read I would want to run 10k bulbs. I have an 03 Ram 1500 SLT if any of that matters.

well what color are you looking for i just put 6000k in my 03 ram and love it we have a few guys on here that sell kits for it that work just fine, i opted for a different party and had to tie in resistors to solve the lamp out and flickering problem

 

I wouldnt run 10 personally. They will be too much blue and not enough light as would be a 6k.

 

I want to get the bright blueish white. I have seen people talk about like HIDextra and I got on their website but I have no idea what kit I would need..

 

I think you're talking about 8000K then if you want blueish white

 

Okay. I really don't know and I don't personally know anyone who has the HID done to their vehicle. What kit would I use? I see about 20 options and have no idea what any of them mean... Sorry to sound stupid lol
