tails
ok, last year i bought some aftermarket tail lights for my '08. i got them off of ebay for like $168 (they are plug and play). anyway, everytime i would put my blinker on it would be "hyperblinker", you know where the light blinks very quickly? i got out to see if the tail light was blinking properly and it was blinking very quickly, the front blinker was fine and working properly. it was only the passenger side light. i took it to a mechanic and they said there is no issue with the electronics. is there a difference in amps between the stock tails and aftermarket ones? i was told that after market ones require an amp package. i was thinking about getting the recon tails, but they are so expensive. why is this? do they come with the amp package?
Are they LED tails? If so, yes, they are lower on the power draw/amperage than regular bulbs. If that's the case, the computer might be reading the bulb as being burned out. If so, a simple fix would be to wire a resistor inline.
