x2 6x9's aren't going to give you that noticeable of a difference being in the back anyhow. I'd recommend a high end 6.5. Look into the eclipse 6.5 point source speakers if you're after the bess of a 6x9 and the clarity of a 6x5 component system

I agree the references are great as well. I have the reference components up front and my only real complaint is the highs tend to be a little overpowering even when tuned properly. Everybodies ear is different tho, if you're gonna stick with the 6.5's go out and listen to em.

Hey Weed. How did you find the equalizer changed your system? I'm building an sq setup and was looking at doing either a stand alnoe equalizer or the audison bitone program.

Any input?

I used to have a Pioneer DEQ-7600 DSP unit but didnt use it for very long. it was cool but hard to place all the gear I got. I sold it to DirtyDog and I think he is using it but you may wanna check with him on it. DSPs are cool and good for SQ-ing. They make them for the AVIC I have an include 5.1 but its not what I need in my truck right now.

They are the same thing. I have the Mopar/Kicker 6x9's and they are night and day different from the stockers. Much clearer on the high end and better bass as well. They are also louder because they have more db/watt. The Mopar version of the Kickers are direct plug-in to the factory harness fit like OEM.
