Its a good suggestion Bullet but by following the way he has it now the paint line follows the window line and seems to have a much more natural flow.
exactly. im not sure about the 02-05 rams (though i'd guess it's very similar if not exactly the same) but for the 06-08 rams, if you look at the lines of the hood gap, it flows right into the bottom of the windows, and behind the rear window there's actually a body line continued to the edge of the cab that is exactly in line with the bottom of the rear window. it fits perfectly, plus i think it gives the body below the window a "bigger" look making the body look almost puffier. hard to explain, but there's an illusion going on that plays on chrysler's original design idea. anyhow, that's why i decided to not bring the top paint down further. only bad thing is that there will be no paint down the bed of the truck, because the body line behind the rear passenger windows lines up directly with the top of the bed. my drop in liner will be coming out when i do the spray-in liner, but it'll be under the rail. just not sure if it'll look funny with only the hood and cab painted. not crazy about continuing the paint down the bed though. i think it would make the top of the truck look bigger than the body. this is where i'm conflicted...
right now i really dont know. it all depends on the amount of prep needed and the quality of paint used. i'd venture a guess to be a lil bit under a grand though. im still collecting the new pieces though so it can all be painted in one shot
I played with photoshop myself, but didn't save the pics. I had the idea of black rocker panels with color matched fender flares, but I was really just messing around.
Definitely go for it, though. Your mockup at least looks amazing.
that would look sick, but i agree with silver... you should follow the body lines of the front fenders to the handles, then back up the body lines of the back fenders...
im not sure how it would look between the handles tho with a straight black line... maybe you could fade it a little below the handles..
some ideas..
that looks totally sick. but wat about bringing it down more to cover the top of the front fenders and then follow that body line back. so that way i can go on the tailgate and bed more.

I like it! But here's a little more black, and what Nick had said, I didnt bring the black down but I did the lower part and painted the bumper the same as your truck
