Default new paint, opinions?

ok so ive had this "blacktop" paint job in mind since i even started modding the truck, but i never really showed it to anyone. xmas and my wife's durango comes first, but i'm looking to get back to my truck and start on the body mods in early january. here's some photochopped pics i did of what i'm considering. what do you guys think or what would you do different? before anyone says it, yeah i've considered going all black too, but it's a bit of a PITA to pain the undercarriage and engine bay, plus i want a custom look rather than just changing the color. anyhow, here's pics (minus the cowl hood, roll pan, tow mirrors, and some other lil stuff):

Man that screams cool. And it makes sense too it looks better and is more practical than a full out color change and it really accents the black you have on your grill and the wheel centers. Add in some black or color matched fender flares and you sir will have in my opinion the coolest truck I have ever seen.

i think u should carry the black down to the top of the handles that way it goes down the whole truck. from the top of the fenders to the bed. then you could paint the top of the grill black and the bottom of it grey. just ideas though

I like it, makes the truck look a little meaner.

yeah i was thinking of carrying the paint to the grille too, but undecided about it because i actually like the chrome in the front. which is weird because i hated it before the new wheels.

Its a good suggestion Bullet but by following the way he has it now the paint line follows the window line and seems to have a much more natural flow.

right now i really dont know. it all depends on the amount of prep needed and the quality of paint used. i'd venture a guess to be a lil bit under a grand though. im still collecting the new pieces though so it can all be painted in one shot
