When I pulled mine. I slipped a small butter knife in between the bottle and shroud. Apply very little pressure against the bottle, while pulling the bottle up, that should disengage the tangs. Be very gentle. I would not try removing it if it is really cold out. Might crack the plastic.
Took me a while to figure it as well.
Good Luck

Default Question about the pulleys..

Im replacing 2 pullys the grooved belt tensioner and the smooth idler pulley. Is the smooth one supposed to be bigger? than the grooved one?? Because i baught the replacements and the grooved one is the same size as the old one but the new smooth one is bigger than the old one. The old ones are matching in size. Autozone told me maybe the previous owner put a different smooth pulley on the truck?

The new ones should be close to the same size as the old ones. A little difference won't hurt anything.
