Yeah, "supervision." It's called "Valentine One Radar Detector"... or nothing. I never leave home without it. It's paid for itself 10 times over, especially when you consider the cost of insurance increase with tickets.

Honestly, I'd check into getting a lawyer. You may be able to get it dropped on your own but you have a lot greater chance with a lawyer. The cost of the ticket probably is cheaper than a lawyer would charge. However, when you factor in the increased insurance costs you are probably better of to go ahead and pay a lawyer now. I've talked to some guys that have gotten some huge speeding tickets dropped or greatly reduced to another charge with the help of a good lawyer.

It's funny to me that people will rant on here about getting a ticket. They can't believe the cop would give them a ticket!

Guess what? The best way to NOT get a ticket is to not speed. You have to pay to play. I have had my share and they were all my fault. Don't blame the police officer - look in the mirror first.

Don't assume that because everyone is doing 80 in a 65 that you won't get a ticket. There's a lot of fish in the river and every one of them is lucky until the fisherman reels them in. Everyone speeding just makes it easier for cops to get easy stats when they're between dispatches.

You played the game as you likely have been doing for a while. This time you didn't win. That's just how it works.

Oh and writing it up as 63 in a 55 is giving you a break in most jurisdictions.

I work in Maitland...those cops (all 2 of them) like to make big scenes of pulling people over at rush hour on maitland blvd. Traffics bad enough as it is but they sit and wait for someone to change lanes too soon after the intersection just so they can illuminate the area w/ their blue lights.

And Dave-o, did you get pulled over buy the old fat guy?

i'll admit that 90 percent of my tickest were my fault, but when i was 18 driving with 3 of my buddies, i get lit up, i pull over, cop walks up, checks my liscence, asks me out of the car, sees my friends and calls backup. Sit us on the curb and proceed to search my truck, they dont find anything so we get back in and he gives me a ticket for a rolling stop at a turn on red. funny thing was i went straight through the last 4 signals and only one was red.

again most of my tickets are my fault but not all, some...... i repeat SOME cops are power tripping dicks.
