Default I need help with VOLANT air intake

so on kijiji.. canadian craigslist.
theres this..

Volcano air intake compatible with a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 series.

i think he ment to write volant. as the picture is a volant intake
he wants 50 bucks. what do u think

im not 100% sure, but i think the volant intakes only replace the stock airbox. so if you do end up getting it, dont expect any big differences. the stock airboxes flow pretty decent already, its the rest of the intake you need to worry about.

also make sure and find out if it is for the 4.7l that you have. volant also makes them for the 5.9 and 5.7.

if that is indeed what you are getting for $50, then its a pretty good deal.

Take it. All you will need is an Airaid intake tube to eliminate the Hemi hat and your good to go. That's a nice box for $50.

What do you mean parts? For that CAI? Nah it should have a part number and you could look it up and see what one it is and see if it fits your truck.

Well when I bought my Volant, I talked to the guy who was their engineer. He told me that you actually loose HP if you use it without the Hemi-hat. It was designed to work with it. Just as a FYI.
