Is it just me?
East - the color they put off great, they were just what I wanted! They are definitely blue, the light output is great still IMO. I don't even use my fogs now, just the low beam HID's...I have heard that in the rain and fog the blue does not cut thru that well so you may be driving blind, but the high beam (which is actually dimmer than the low beam HID) is a yellow color similar to stock lights, and it is not angled high so I will use those if the situation calls for it...but I would def chose the 10K lights again, sorry I kinda wrote alot out lol...
I have never had any problem with any kit sent to me from intensehid.com, every kit has worked perfectly and every light matches exactly what color it was sent to me as. It is more expensive, but it seems to me as though you are paying for the quality of the product sent, and I have never bought from any company online and had the shipping be as prompt as they were. I chose the free shipping with all 4 kits that I bought from them and every kit came in within 3 business days.
I had one of my bulbs change color like that just before it totally quit working. I have lifetime on my bulbs and ballasts but that means I have to take it off, send it back, wait for them to "test" it and then send me another. On a DD thats not good. So I just went to ebay and bought another set of 6k HID bulbs for $10 shipped. That way i replaced the one I needed and now have an extra.
Coincidentally, my relay also developed issues where sometimes my headlights would work and sometime they wouldnt. I sent off a email to who i got them from and was told the same thing as before, to take it off and send it to them for testing. When i go to work at 6am it is dark and then I get off at 630 pm it is dark. So again with this being my DD I cant afford to wait 1-2 weeks.
So all this lifetime on bulbs/ballast/relays means chit to me because it does me no good. I just ordered anothre relay on Weds and it will be here today.
I honestly kinda regret paying as much as I did for my original HID kits. Live and learn
