Got my new cab lights put in and led tailgate bar
must say the recon parts are madeof very high quality. ive never had any led parts on any truck of mine before, but these cab lights and tailgate bar are definitely top notch.
i have some pictures joe got while doing it. he will probably chime in and give you guys a walk through if you want.
all measured out

rough fit

installed in garage

installed outside

led bar

led bar and white night reverse lights

day pictures of cab lights

backside of truck with leds on

i must say, joe did a pretty solid job on the install took him a lot longer than planned, he said something like 5 hours but it was 30 degrees out yesterday he said probably about 2 and a half actual working hours, and 2 and a half hours of warming up. ha ha ha
and he made me a new signature picture today too.

thanks! next thing i need to do to finish off the look is get a set of oem towing mirrors but everywhere i look they are like 500 dollars. anyone know where to get them for cheaper or someone selling some or willing to trade or anything?
It's sitting in the garage, it's about 55 degrees in there. Just at the time I had to keep the doors open and it was chilly in there.
Once I started putting the silicon on, I shut the doors, and it warmed up in there...
And the type of silicon I used on the inside was a different type than I used on the outside. It dries in half hour, and cures in roughly 3 hours, with an application temperature of 15 degrees to 200 degrees.
The stuff I used on the outside had an application temperature of 30 - 200, and full cure time in one day.
