I hate to say, though, the person hit from behind is almost never the one at fault. If a cop wrote it up that way, then you're very lucky.

With few exceptions, if you rear-end someone, it's your fault.

X2 you got lucky. Most the time they would just tell you that you shouldnt have been following so close under those conditions. just to keep in mine in weather like that your suppose to follow the 6 second rule instead of the 3 to compensate for the lack of friction.

 

yeah, Thank god for that. But the lady explained to the cop what exactly happened an was neither of our faults it was the guy that sped away.. I wish I knew what he was driving

 

I suspect that his leaving the scene was what saved you.

yeah, you can say that. but the police are going to talk about city about that turn off to. Because all the other turns have those dips out and the one that we were on didn't have one. The police they get the most alot of calls on accidents off that one little turn.

 

I'm working on it! Lol right now me and my friend are both out of luck.. I'm not worried about the chevy cause everything things its ugly anywho. (its on 18's and tall 35" tires") an whip antena an all dinged up.. But my friend (has the F350) his truck recently blew up so he's getting that fixed so it will be outta commision for a couple weeks. enough for me to get some mods in LOL.

yeah, we race motocross together and he traveled to FL about 3 weeks ago and it blew up down there. So his dually is in the shop. Weird thing is that the thing he said before he left was "Dude I'mma totally win this contest" .. and what happened? haha
