Default Got into a wreck today.

Well it's been raining here all day here in GA. So I decided to go get some take out chinese food tonight. Anyway, on the way back speed limit was 55 (but everyone was doing 45 due to the rain) an I look to see the car in front of the car I'm behind and making sure nothing was going up ahead because there was a pretty big line of traffic but it was just the rain. So there is a gas station that i was ABOUT to pass called Zip-In an then all of a sudden the Tahoe (newer style) slammed on brakes so I immediately slammed on mine (doing 45) then I started sliding down the wet road towards the tahoe an tried guiding my truck off the road as much as I could to avoid rear end damage, but it was to late. I hit the tahoe on the right corner side of its rear end.. (Better than hitting the whole rear end I would say). But my left light is cracked an I'm going to be needing a new bumper.. Ugh.. But what happened was the car infront of the tahoe didnt have any lights an she (lady driving the tahoe) hit them but they sped off . Which was the causer of the accident.. But My mom and I are ok an the other lady an her kids were ok so I guess thats a good thing that happened. other than the damage. My truck only suffered a shattered left headlight an front left side of the fender is all knocked up.. The lady in the tahoe had her right side of her rear bumper warped into her wheel weld but it was still drivable and her right brake light was broken.. The lady that I hit also just moved here from TX. and I still got the dealership tag on my truck an she had a dealership tag on her tahoe. but no one is going to court were just going to settle it ourselves. Hopefully it won't cost to much. probly going to replace my headlights with projectors anyway.

It's been raining like hell here in Florida too. I had to take a trip up I95 and then across state yesterday and must have seen about 8 accidents, ranging from people standing on the side of the road after an apparent fender bender to full police/ambulance/wrecker deals.
I know it's bad in Ga, but I hope y'all clear up. I'll be up next week for my only chance at deer for this year. My last trip came to an abrupt halt after only one day in the woods with the call about World Series tickets... LOL...
