If I had this done by a shop, because I am limited with cutting tools, they won't have to wire anything up will they?

All you need is a hack saw to cut. You don't need to weld it up, you could always clamp it. Then you wouldn't need a shop to do it for you. I am wishing that I didn't weld mine now that I am pulling out all the piping when I put my headers on.

Silver, do you need to clean it every now and then, i thought I read something somewhere about cleaning it will some kind of cloth?

Just not sure how I'll get the wiring into the cab to place the controle module somewhere (most likely in the center console since there is a power supply in there).

There are plastic plugs in the fire wall that you can drill through and feed wiring through.

All my wiring is under the hood. I connected it to the battery. I read that u should clean dmh one every once in a while with steel wool
