Question 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L V8 NO HEAT IN CAB OVERHEATING

I have a 04' dodge ram 1500 2wd 5.7L V8 on which i have replaced the stat. (installed correctly), radiator and water pump (OEM ALL PARTS). when it came to "Burp" the radiator it did a couple bubbles in the span of 10 min while the heat was on full blast in the cab. as i go to sit in my truck no hot air was coming out and the gage read hot around 250 and with a little bit of gas it slowly dropped back to 203-205. then on idle for a few minutes it would slowly creep to 250 again and slowly i felt heat in the cab. i did a psi check and it stayed at 16psi did the test while running and stayed consistent (15-16psi) i had heat before and there is no codes? does anyone have an answer to this issue?

Sounds like you still have air in the system. Some guys jack the front end up or park on an incline uphill to assist with bleeding the air out.

I'll try that and see if it still has air.

UPDATE:
it was the new ECT that had a low circuit. the MIL came up after a few goes on the gas and i replaced the new ect and no more issues
