I have a 2002 4.7 1500. Problem is that I am getting minimal heat to defrost and no heat to floor. Fans work strong. I have filled the coolant. I have ran the truck and felt the hoses (I saw a suggestion to flush the core) and both are warm, but touchable. Mom always told me to take more mechanics classes...so we all no the moral to this story. Any help is appreciated.

 

Double check that the coolant you added is compatable with your trucks cooling system.

More info would be good as well as to when this started. (ie. after adding coolant, temperature drop, etc)

Is there any smell of coolant or anything else out of the ordinary?
