Ok, so I've been checking out the threads on eyelids. I want 'em now!!! I see how to do them, no problem. As you can see I have a white truck and I need some opinions. I was thinking I want to make them white to match the truck. Would that look stupid or should I go with a darker color? Also, what type of coating/paint is best to use? Thanks gentlemen.

So, vinyl instead of paint? Trying to learn about this. Where do you get the vinyl? And what are the advantages over paint? Being able to remove it?

 

well u can paint i just dont want to bc if i decide to take them off then i can. and u can get vinyl and any sign shop

 

Get some color match paint and paint them on. Then it will match your paint perfectly. That is what I did and it looks like they came with the truck.

 

Do you have any pictures of your eyelids teacher? I'm just trying to see also what the best look is. I've seen some shallow and some thicker than others. But I definitely want to match the paint. I think it will look better in the daytime if I do white eyelids instead of black.

 

I have tried to take a couple of pics of them at night with the lights on and it never works out. Never tried to get a pic during the day but I can if you would like to see them.
