What to do when Shipping Rims to someone over Dodge forum
i wish these would have been on here a month ago... i drove through janesville plus another 2 hours to get mine... but i have new tires on mine...
are you sure he wants your wheels? did you ask him why he wants to get rid of his? he only has 4 posts which means he opened an account just to sell the wheels...
but so did the guy i got mine from, and he was legit...
i would be skeptical tho... he wants to trade a $1500 set for some stock flowerpetals that really have no value...?

Yeah man, be careful. I would be way too nervous to deal with a guy with 4 post. I think it might be too good to be true. Unless you can get him to ship his wait till they get to your place and then package up yours and ship them to him. But that is the ONLY way I would do that. Just be careful.
yeah, idk about 4 posts, his join date was this month too. But you would calculate the weight of the box with each tire in it (and the measures of the boxes length width and height, this is for some delivery companies out there)..there is a calculator on how much shipping should cost on the UPS website or should be one with whomever you go with for a delivery company. You can plug all the numbers in on the website.

Wait for him to send his..he can send you a piece of s*** and put a tracking number on it and you will send him your tires thinking his tires are on they're way..little do you know what is going to be in your mail box within the next couple days.

You run the possiblity of the a rim being bent as well. Even very slight imperfections are going translate to vibration problems. Too many scammers out there! I would pass up this offer. It cost me $115.00 to sent 4 rims to Summit in Ohio. Plus I had to buy boxes for them.
Good Luck

personally i'm with these guys. It's easy to see this thing go south real fast. I'd rethink the idea. Plus it will get pretty pricey for the shipping to be honest with you. You may want to find someone local, maybe check craigslist for something you may like better.
