I just bought a 2007 dodge ram 2500 4x4 diesel I love this truck but the other night while driving i went to put on the high beams and the headlights went out.This the second dodge ive owned and was wondering if this was a common event when the dimmer switch goes out i never had this issue with the previous truck.

 

Not that I know of. Check all of the fuses in the underhood panel.
