I just bought an 08 dodge ram reg cab pickup, for some reason when i lock the door with the key fob the yellow front lights will blink twice the waits 3 seconds and flash once then the alarm just goes off. Anyone have this issue before>

 

If this is an after market alarm sounds like they do not have the door trigger connected to the correct wires.

Does it do it every time?

 

RKE is just that nothing but keyless entry. The Sentry theft deter is a chip in the key or fob. Thats not a real alarm. Supposedly the need that ket to start the truck. Thats why is called theft deter

 

Could be the panic feature malfunctioning or someone piggy backed an alarm on to the factory key less entry.

 

hmm, i guess i will just take it to the delaership on Monday. I am just locking manually to avoid it.
