Default Video from the track last Weekend

Finally got around to uploading it. Here is the video from last weekend at the track (The one where I got a little screwy on the launch). If anything its a good sound clip of the exhaust at WOT. Enjoy (please dont laugh to hard... I really had no traction there)...

Gunned at the light with street tires and lost all traction.

No the next run the girl running the camera said the card wouldn't read. It wasn't that much better though, 15.3 @ 90 I believe, still spun the tires going down the track just not as bad. But its alright, like I said in my other thread from that night, I kenw traction was going to be an issue going into it and now I know what my next few mods are going to be

better luck nexttime bud...sounded good tho...you still have a tastefully modded rig so no worries you just know now that you need some help with traction.....those caltracs should help a little.....

Dont worry about it bro ... You will get the hang of track driving ... It looks like in the video that you were getting swerly ... A few more time down the track and you will figure out how to throtal it down the track ... Its not allways WOT ... Once you get traction then you want to hit it ... And now you know to lower the tire pressure ... Did you happen to heat up the tires at all?? Some ppl say it doesnt matter with stock street tires but I have allways found it makes a differnce. You can tell cuz when you get back from the pass you made u will see all little rocks and pebles stuck to your tires if you got them hot enought...

Nice run the the truck sound badass!!!

So what exactly did a torque converter do for you? Whats it feel like daily driving? Im just wondering what all of a difference it made on your rig.

Daily driving feels a bit more torquey and "get-up-and-go" power is much much better. Have you done the gear swap to 4.56's yet? If you have its similar to that but with more power and torque (I did it after I had my 4.56's on for a while and it had the same feeling as when I first drove it after the gears were put in, so a very noticeable increase in power and tq). I drive about 30miles or soto work in stop and go traffic everyday and its fine, you have to give it a little more to get it going but not much more (I had to raise my idle about 50-100rpms so when I take my foot off the brake in drive it eases forward but thats about all). It is still to date my favorite mod with the 4.56's coming in second.
