I can't wait to hear how the converter and 260 work out for you. Those are the two main mods I have lined up for the new year so some feedback about how they perform will be great.

sweeet, i was kinda wondering about an aftermarket TC on a 2500 pullin truck, oddly theres only a couple of 2500 hemis around here...but im sure ull let us know about the install, just hurry

What exactly does the torque converter do? I am not sure on that one....

also for reference....I have 32"s and 4.10s. I run about 2K at 70mph as well.

basically it acts as the clutch in an automatic tranny. it takes the spinning motion of the engine and applies it to the tranny at a predetermined point. the stock converters that come in our trucks create a lot of parasitic hp loss in the drivetrain. replacing it with a more efficient aftermarket one will free up some of the hp you lose on the way to the wheels.

nice man! what stall did you get? for refference with 20's, a 2700 stall converter and 4.56's at 70 Im at around 2300rpm

I have 4.56 gears and at 80mph I'm turning 2400 RPM with the stock 20"s.
