I could probably hit 60mph / 100kph faster than the 4.7.
the Cummins in stock form has crazy acceleration for a diesel. but in saying that, so does the Ford 6.0 Navistar and the Chevy 6.6 Duramax.
what pisses off the mustang and z-28 guys around me is when I launch, my turbo is screaming so much they try to accelerate away from me so they wont hear it, just edging me to push mine more catching up with them, and by doing so I'm making more noise
all I did was remove the intake baffel and turbo silencer ring. gutting the intake box is next[8D]
