Yeah, these damn mopars love copper plugs! Iradium, platinum, urainuim.. whatever, just a waste of money. MSD hates them too. What do you hemi guys gap @ with a mild tune? Any of you guys go with larger T.B.s?

agree on the trans comments. like I said, plenty of us abuse them, and they hold up alright.

larger TBs are pricey. Can get them honed a little bit oversize from fastman. look up threads started by truckin151, he's got one on the TB him, rubberfrog, and I think offroadteacher all have them, all with great reviews.

Might want to give the steering system a good check. Especially both racks and the pump and the hose.

i dont really think a larger TB from Fastman is that pricey. i think for $237, the gains you get from it are worth it.

the fastman is not actually a larger TB. The diameter at the samllest point is still the same. I guess you pick up a little flow from him removing one side of the stick that goes across and attaches to the plate.

The fastman TB for the hemi just has the two ends tapered. you get much faster throttle response and more snap, but horsepower is likely not greatly affected.

but yes, from all the opinions I have heard, well worth the $$

The 545RFE is much better than the older 2nd gen trannys. They hold up pretty well considering the 345 Hemi has about 115 more hp than a 360 Magnum.
