Engine doesn't make a difference. Player', is your '04 a 4x2 or 4x4? If a 4x4, you can crank the torsion bar bolts a bit for added lift if fitment is tight...

They "should" fit just fine on your truck. I run the same size and had them on my 2wd before I got the leveling kit on stock tires.(17x8) Good choice in tires by the way. haha

I plan on seeing just how good a choice they are. I've got a set on my Grand Cherokee and I'm in Ga for the week. Plan on going out to the farm tomorrow for some spec fishin' and they've gotten 11" of rain here the last two weeks. One of the restaurants out at the river is closed due to flooding.
I've been told I'll NEVER get across either of the plowed fields to get a vehicle down to the pond. Aint got the truck & winch, took the Jeep this trip for fuel economy. Truck has more aggressive tires & LSD, but the Jeep has lockers FRONT & REAR!!!
I can always fire up the John Deere if'n I get stuck. I'll post pics if I stick it, but if I don't, then don't expect any cause I ain't stoppin half way thru a muddy field for a Kodak moment...

True hammer. once you get rollin' don't stop in the middle for nothing. Sounds like a lot of fun though. Fun gettin' there, fun fishin' and fun gettin' back. Like to hear how they do even if you don't have pics.

That was EXACTLY why I said ain't no pics being taken UNLESS I stick it!!! I been huntin' & fishin' WAY too many years to be dumb enough stop half way across a muddy field.

4WD & Lockers are great, but BIG MO is your best friend!!!

ok, well I'll take them at pond side anyway before I put a minnow on my line and make my first cast. I would imagine there would be a boatload of nice red mud all over the Jeep anyway...

BTW: Since it will be the Jeep, look for any related posts/pics to be in either the Jeep or Outdoors section...
