Default sweet trade part 2 - i need weed!!! --->>> not that kind

as you saw in part 1 i scored these halo projectors off cl. now i have some questions.they were wired up by a auto guy that does these all the time but i dont know where 2 wires go.he set it up so its semi plug and play-the headlight plugs right in but the halo and leds need to be clipped onto the binker wire??? there is an end on the wire that gets slipped onto the blinker wire or some wire and it cuts into the insulation to make a connection.there are 2 of these -what exact wire do they clip to and do they both go on the same wire? and now i need weed, lol these lights say right on them not to use hids,so how much u gonna charge me to fit hids into these lights, lol?? see pics below

wires that clip onto other wires for halo and leds to work:

ill bet my bottom dollar, that if those wires are for the halo, they will tap into your parking light wires. thats kind of wierd they say not to use HIDs

You guys got it right, those wires are for the halos. One if (+) and the other is (-). Thats why you see them tied together. As for why they say not to use HIDs, its because they are halogen projectors and hot HID projectors.

those LEDs are known to burn out but thankfully they are replacable. You can buy a big pack off ebay for little to nothing. Those clips on the end of the wires should pull out. The clip over the turn signal wires (12v and ground) and you press them with pliars to force them to bite into the through the insulation and then plug them into the male insulated spade connectors.

As to which wire goes where, you will need to get a volt meter and test the wires in your parking light bulbs to see which has 12v and which is ground.

I will look in my AllData shortly and see if i can help give some wire colors.

Yea those have to get taped into the parking lights wire. I believe the adjustment screws for the lights will be the same as stock. check the manual for that. i have a 06 and mine was in the same spot. also, i have hids in mine. they will work fine with no problems
