Got a Question
The chall is like. 80 dollar bypass. They should be charging u like price of the remstart if u got the 5101 that's 210 and then 150 for the bypass and programming so 359 I don't believe there's anything else off the top of my head. Hey man I've been good just work and school same old
most of them you find online are maybe 20 bucks cheaper. If you compare the man hours it would take to hook up door locks in the new trucks which is four relays and resistors for mux activated doors. the entire ignition system is ground through resistance also known as MUX. the door pin triggers are behind the instrument cluster, and if you have the factory alarm there is no way to disarm it with just an aftermarket alarm that has not computer control.
all in all your talking hours of work trying to find all the wires and get it hooked up right. Or you buy the CHALL and literally take all the wires from the remstart wire them into teh bypass and the bypass then plugs into the SKIM module located above the lock cylinder and is able to do all of that through the factory computer.
here it is right off bypasskit.com

I have a viper keyless entry/remote start and my key doesn't have that chip but they said if it did they would need to take that chip out of the key and place it in the remote starter, making the engine "believe" the key was in the ignition. It's possible to do but maybe they didn't know how.
