Great site!

I hope you guys can help me, I have an '06 2500 Cummins. It is a great truck, the issue I have is that we are about to add another member to our family. With the new addition there will be six of us. Our truck has the factory center console, I would like to remove it and add a jump seat in its place. My question is; have any of you installed a shoulder belt on the center seat. If so how did you go about it?

Thanks!

BTW, here is my truck getting ready to perform it's primary job.

your truck is GORGEOUS. dont know that you'll be able to put a shoulder belt in there. there are certain strength requirements for the shoulders and i dont think theres anything you could mount it to strong enough. perhaps someone else can prove me wrong.

welcome to the DF man

I would imagine if you bought the factory parts, seat, seatbelt etc., you could just bolt it in. I can take pics of mine if you like.

you won't be able to do a 'legal' shoulder strap on the front center seat. like AF said, requirements. the front center seat is simply not strong enough to take that load.

and agree with everyone else, beautiful truck.

I don't see any reason that you couldn't unbolt you center console from the floor and replace it with the flip up arm rest. But I have been known to be wrong before.
