Default Wierd shifts on 02 Dodge 5.9

Truck acts kinda strange on some shifts lately...maybe I just notice it more through the sounds of the engine since the muffler install
Its like it slips when I give it gas. Maybe about 200-500rpms on the up and downshifts...mainly from 2-3 is where I have noticed. Kinda like riding the clutch in a manual....thats the pause it has. I can hear the engine rev higher but doesn't catch right away. From a stop its fine.

I will be making an appointment to change the tranny fluid, but anything else I should do while Im at it? Hopefully this solves my problem since I have no idea when the tranny fluid has been changed....Ive had it for about 15 months and havent done it yet. It has 113000 miles.

Not catching right away. Probably time for a rebuild on the 46re. While your at it. I'd throw a transgo kit in. To help it out.

I had the filter and fluid changed and it did seem to help a little. I will probably try reseting the pcm also.
I didnt have the bands tightened and the dealership didnt say they did it. I wasnt aware of doing that. Ill see how it goes and tighten them on the next change if not sooner.
