I bought a "3865" from him for $300 but he shipped me a 3815 instead (which I already owned). He refused to write me back after I told him it was the wrong one. Fortunately, someone on craigslist bought it from me for $300 later on so I at least got my money back but it was and will probably be the last time I buy anything from someone on here.

You're the typical brazen scammer who will defend itself even when it's preparing it's next scam. You're nothing more than a punk. One day it will catch up to you.

All Im going to say is this. I had to call Hensons and order another set AND have them over-nighted which cost me about $86 bux I think. I kept my invoice specifically so that if anyone questioned it, I would have it to show even though i dont have to prove anything to anyone. I know ONE guy locally who is one this board and he has a Mega I can cant get him to do anything to his truck. So a second set of springs do my no good at all. Once you change to 6.1s, you arent going to change to anything else.
I offered a gentlemans proposition of only asking for HALF of the 50 back because not only was I trying to give the safe assumption that he did send them (because he did seem ginuwine about it) but also that because he would have lost springs and I wouldnt have the springs, that I though since we both were out of something, 25 would be fair. I never even had to make that offer and could have been a total *** about it. It wasnt that i was trying to get something for free, I was trying to be nice about it.
Anyone can see through my pics and my sig that Ive spent a ton of money and time in my rig. Like I said before and as did DirtyDog, its wasnt about the money but rather the principle.
On a side note, I had to call FedEx the other night and chew thier ***. I had some 6.1 half covers I bought from the LX board come in and my house is surrounded by fence and behind the fence are my Rotts. I order a lot of things and so does my wife. Both UPS and FedEx have my number and normally they will call me if im not there OR throw it over the fence. The dogs never mess with it anyway.
Well this particular night the Fedex driver was a different guy and he decided to not call AND to leave the package on his side of the fence which is RIGHT BY THE ROAD!!! We have people walk up and down the road all the time and ANYONE could have walked by, picked it up and i never would have known had I NOT have the TRACKING number to check it. So 1) you see the reason for a tracking number and 2) FedEx is wrong for leaving a package by the road where anyone could come by and pick it up. Common since should tell you not to do that and just deliver it the next night and leave a tag.
I warned nathan about my local USPS. I was at my dads house one day and he got someone elses mail from a guy all the way across town. I could understand maybe from the buy next door or one street over but how the hell do you mix up from one side of town to the other? So there is no telling where they are. All I know is unfortunately they did not make it here and I apologize for having to go through PP but after not being able to work it out, I had no choice.
Anyway, this is another reason (and one I already explained to nathan) why you ALWAYS ship with a carrier who tracks. I appreciate everyones support and understanding but we need not make this thread into a bloodbath.

SMKNRAM - 10yrs ago, you wouldnt have said that. Ive become a lot more peaceful and mellow. THX tho.
Last of the 5.9s - I know that feeling TOO well. I was pre-financed for 35k for my truck (NFCU) and they were sending me a check. Well at that time I lived in an apartment also and a buddy from down the street came by and when i opened the door for him he handed me a cardboard envelope that was on my doorstep. Wanna guess that the ***** was in it?
That was DHL.

Most of the time ups does me good both shipping and recieving. They usually drop off their packages right behind a pillar by my front door so its out of site. Fedx and USPS though are a different story. They just dont care where they put stuff. Nothing like a $300 part sitting out where everyone can see it for a full day not under our porch but halfway up our driveway. Had it rained after it was dropped off it would have been ruined or if someone would have walked by and grabbed it it be gone.
I'm not 100% impressed with UPS either. I've had them do the same thing, just not with me in the house. I've come home to find a box sitting on the sidewalk. Actually had a run in with them the other day. They left a box on my front step. Doesn't really bther me as much now b/c I moved out to a house in the country, I'm surrounded by farm land and retired people. I now have a yard and my own driveway so I'm not as afraid of someone steeling it. But, when I checked online from work to see if the package had been delivered, the driver put a note in the file that said "met occupants son". I don't have a son, or a daughter for that matter, not yet anyway, she's due in March and won't be answering any doors anytime soon. What pissed me off is that the driver was making it look like he gave the package to someone so if it came up missing he'd say it was delivered to occupant instead of just left on doorstep. It wouldn't suprise be if he forged a signature too.
Since some people have been asking me for more info about the transaction, I'll just post up the PMs. Like I said, I got my money back and regardless of why it happened, it happened and I still don't have a 3865 but I'm at least not $300 SOL. I don't know why Nathan never responded to my last correspondence, but "oh well, live and learn" is apparently the rule I gotta follow by. Here is the following;
where would i be shipping it to?? Id probly take 275 plus the shipping
Oh yea, lol sorry. Zipcode is 98338 (Graham, W.A.)
express post is about 25 bucks, so if youd be okay with 300 shipping included, its yours and i can ship it out tommorow
It's a deal. Do you have Paypal? If you would sooner send me a Paypal invoice for records then send it to [edit] (My paypal account name).
My address is {edit}
you should have a bill in your email. Will ship tommorow, thanks for helping a guy out!!
Hey, I was just wondering if you got a tracking number for me? Also, who did you use for a shipper? I'm just curious as many times UPS will leave a note and make me drive and pick it up so I'd like to be home when it comes.
Thanks
hey sorry for the delay, its coming priority canada post so USPS on your end. Tracking # is ce530361942ca might be to late now, might already have it. Been crazy busy, getting married in a week. Hope the delay is not a problem, hope you enjoy!
Nope, must still be in the mail. Thanks for the tracking number. Can't wait to get this and installed! Congrats on the marriage! Hope all is good
Hey Nathan,
Just got the tuner. Not sure if you put a typo up or not but you sent a 3815 and not a 3865 that you had posted for sale. I already had a 3815 but wanted the 3865 because the new transmission updates won't work on the 3815 and only on the 3865. Would you be willing to take back the tuner? Worst case I can try to sell it but I'd prefer send it back since I don't really need this.
Let me know what works for you, I know you are busy with the wedding and all but when you get a chance let me know how you want to work this out.
