So anyone up for an "unofficial" 3rd Gen Ram of the Year contest now that the december ROTM is over? Or maybe a "Top 10 3rd Gen ram's of 2009" contest? Maybe adjust the rules on this one a little so that the nominees have to have been an active member of df for at least the last 6 months or something?

I like the top ten idea as well. It would be a good opportunity to showcase some of the best trucks of the year. Not really sure how we would work it though to pick the top ten to be in the list.

we can do what a buddy of mine did on his lame pontiac forum. they voted best 12 cars of the year, and made a calendar. cost about $6 a piece.

I would say do it like we normally do it for TOTM and have the DF 3rd gen'rs nominate 10 trucks they feel are the best of 2009 (again adjust the nominations to those that have been active on DF for the majority of the year, personally I would think 4-6 months of being an active member would be best specially for an "of the year contest"), and then put it to a vote between the ten nominees to determine the rank from 1-10.

Of course this does not mean that number 10 is the worst truck on DF but one of the 10 best trucks.

damn good idea i like the fact that they had to be ACTIVE for the past ? months not just a post here and there but ACTIVE...not sure how we would work that but im sure we can all come to an agreement...maybe nominated then 2nd and maybe even 3rd......and accepted....i dunno just throwing ideas out....but im down for it....
