this is just getting dumb... should have started it out with 12 trucks total. u get one nom(same criteria still applys) and then for the truck to be in needs to be seconded. no nominating 5 trucks thats how its all messed up... thats just my 2 cents

 

yup 12 trucks for the calander, minus 3 gauranted spots for the 3rd gens that one a 09 TOTM and fill the other 9 spots.

 

this thread is done silver run another deal if need be....if yall wanna do a calendar....its just not worth it....

 

I have to be honest with you guys, this thread is embarassing. This is one of the first things that people see when they come to our part of the site. What they see is what looks like a bunch of guys who can't get their acts together. I am unsticking this thing bc it is clearly a mess. If someone wants to try this again, make up some rules first. And really, whoever's idea it is should come up with the rules and that is it. After all, it is their idea so they should really get to decide how it runs without the hijacks. If you don't like the rules of their poll, start your own. Jay, AF and Truckin, it was a good idea and I think you guys could have gotten it to work without all of the other BS that got interjected.

Haven't been following the thread really lol but why can't we just make it like truck of the month but have 12 trucks (one for each month) and apply the same rules as TOTM along with two guidelines...min of 500 posts and no join date later than june 30, 2009?

 

There is no reason that you can't, but this thread went down the tubes fast.

 

Looks like when everyone voted for trucks 3 or 4 times it began getting difficult to tally...

 

It is a shame bc it was a good idea that went out of control when the rules started to change as the thread progressed.

 

I think I have an idea..we can do this but have one person nom another truck, only one, and just do that until we reach twelve..the person being nominated of course needs to accept. The first twelve to accept are the ones who will be in TOTY. Is this what we are doing, just a different way? Of course a new thread will need to be started.
