Correct shocks for '07 w/ 2.5 level?
Ok guys, I'm sure the first comment will be to search. However, in my searching, I have come across 2 schools of thought, and I don't know which one is correct....
1) Buy shocks 2" over.
2) Buy original length shocks (I read that due to the extra length of the shock that it can bottom the shock out easier?)
In school of thought #1, I haven't had much luck find 2" over shocks for the '07. '05 and previous it's easy.
In school of thought #2, that's obviously easier, since it's the stock length.
I have the HBS 2.5 level spacers on my '07 QCSB 4x4, and I want to get the correct length.
So can someone point me in the right direction?

Well, after calling Fat Bob's, Rancho, and 4 Wheel Parts, they all said that if using a coil spacer, use a stock length strut. If I purchased the readylift shock from Rancho, or the 5100 adjustable from Bilstein, it would replace the coil spacer.
So, I think I'm going to go with the Rancho 5000 (RS5788) for the front. The truck is mostly a pavement queen, so I don't see any need to jump to the 9000's.
Unfortunately, everyone seems to be sold out of them. Apparently a lot of Ram owners received Rancho shocks for Christmas?!

Moe's Performance had 5 in stock, so 2 are on their way to my place. They had the lowest price and free shipping too!

I agree, Matt. Actually, about $140 is the general going price. Moe's had them for $108, and 4Wheel Parts had them on sale for $108 also, but they didn't have any in stock.
